Concha brooches finalised!
The final result! My camera died on me that day, so I wasn't able to take any more single shots before handing them over :-(
I hope the customer will send me some when they are being used!
The patterns above made me remember an old idea of making a felt owl... maybe one day :-)

Concha brooches made to order
Work in progress pictures!
I'm thoroughly enjoying this new passion, the process gives me a lot of pleasure!
The bespoke brooches are designed to pimp the new uniform for female employees of an international company.
The colours had to resemble those used in their logo. A lot of combinations were possible, the client chose wisely!
Again, glitters and pearls inherited by Taant were used :-)
More pictures to come when the project is finished!

KORAAL
The woven diamond pattern of these garden relaxer chairs just had to be embroidered!
As it happened I wanted to create something with pictures I've been taking on holidays. This was a golden opportunity and first experiment!

WAVE
A smocked skirt. A happy colourful skirt. A pleated skirt with a high reversable waist.
One that makes everyone long for spring, small and tall!
Boots: out of the question. Wellingtons are allowed though.
I bought this fabric once from an overstock, this is AN ORIGINAL 80ies ITEM :-)

The Thin Blue Line
Again embroidered self-made t-shirts, one blue and one brown version. This time for adults and with a 'heavier' concept than those for kids ;-).
The thin blue line refers to our fragile atmosphere (dixit Brian Cox- Wonders of the Solar System).
It has to be taken care of, similarly for the shirt.
Embroidered with taants' inherited pearl collection and made with last overstock fabric Stephan Schneider!

TAANT
Millions of pearls and glitters I inherited from taant, my all time muze...
loads of opportunities for experimenting!
With leftovers from Stephan Schneider's overstock fabric I made these embroidered t-shirts.
The fish is based on the red sea bannerfish, which I had the pleasure of encountering once in Egypt while snorkeling.

Yes You CANS
For three years I collected empty coffee cans.
I upholster them with textile leftovers, which turns them into a functional and aesthetic storage item.
They were made as a guest assignment for http://www.deinvasievankortrijk.be/ and will be for sale soon on http://www.deinvasie.be/
Hundreds of cans are still waiting for new remainders... a project to be continued!
Thank you Yves for the pics!
